3 for the price of 1

While we might have been in Cape Town for the past 10 days and we have had an abundant amount of free wi-fi – I can quite honestly say the time and days have just disappeared. Therefore I do acknowledge that by now this should have probably been our 3rd post while in CT but tough, it’s not 😉

We spent the weekend in Tulbagh enjoying the fantastic wine and using it as an excuse to choose the red wine for our wedding (Ian, that narrows it down a bit). Spring has truly sprung and the western Cape flora is looking gorgeous, the fynbos is particularly lovely with all the proteas and pin cushions out in full colour at the moment. Unfortunately we haven’t had a chance to climb Table mountain due to the lack of time and the rather changeable weather at the moment. I will be glad to be heading north and hopefully towards some sunshine tomorrow.

Finally MrO arrived and we were granted an appointment from the officious customer officer, this was on Tuesday and preparations have been hectic ever since.

Tomorrow we head off up the west coast from Cape Town and will be stopping first at Tieties Baai (Boob Bay) for a farewell with some old friends from CT. From there we will try to hug the coast and wild camp on the beach, it seems that the budget was blown on the good wine.

Until next time…
