Driving towards the Caprivi really feels like a whole different country to what we have previously experienced in Namibia. It’s a lot more lush and the villages next to the road are more akin to the western idea of Africa. We are spending the last few nights at different sites on the Namibian side of the Okavango and Chobe rivers before crossing into Botswana. Namibia is certainly contrasting in the landscape, weather and people. By no means have we ‘done’ Namibia but no doubt there will be another time.
And just as a farewell bid it was once again a cold final night with a blasting wind and crazy bush fires right next to our campsite, all good though as we had an escape plan, Botswana here we come π
